You are looking at a true barn find, this car was put away 37 years ago and just recently pulled out. This is an A-Code 289 4 barrel automatic with Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air Conditioning, & a console. There are very few items missing. The things I see missing are the air cleaner, door panels, lower radiator hose, air conditioning compressor, & I am sure there are some other small items. All the glass is good except the windshield need to be replaced. This is a project that needs complete restoration, but it is better than most you will find, A-codes are getting harder and harder to find. It does need rust repair, the floors are all original and are not in too bad of condition. The front toe pans need to be replaced the other floor pans I think are pretty good. The front frame rails all appear to be nice. The rear torque boxes are nice, the rear frame rails are good except the last 12 inches need to be replaced. As far as the body, it depends on how much repair work you want to do. It could use new trunk drop pans, the rear outer wheel houses need to be repaired or replaced. The rear quarters may need the lowers replaced, someone tried repairing them years ago and didn't do a very good job. The doors could be repaired or maybe new skins put on them. The drivers fender could be repaired the passenger I would probably replace. The interior seems to be complete, the seats probably would need to be recovered and most of the panels would probably need to be repainted. For the most part this is a very complete car that hasn't been all molested and still is pretty much all original. There is no reserve so bid to win!!!! The wheels and tires do not go with the car, it will have a set of rollers on it for the buyer. A $500 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours and the remainder must be paid within 7 days. I would like the car picked up within 30 days but I am flexible and can help load on any type of transporter.
