Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 1982 911 SC targa with very low original miles. I bought it as a project car with 56,000 miles at the time. Since then: The motor has been resealed Transmission rebuilt Clutch/flywheel replaced 930 valve covers 930 tie-rods top fully refurbished new targa top seals new windshield seal and the car has been corner balanced amongst other things The AC has been removed and the car does leak oil like 95% of the breed INTERIOR: The goal was to have a nice everyday driver that was comfortable and reliable. After the car was mechanically sound I paid to replace the ratty brown interior with a lightweight RS carpet, rear seat delete, RS door panels and original Porsche houndstooth seats. I also installed a hidden stereo system including Alpine type R 6X9 speakers where the rear seats used to be and 5” under the dash, with an amp powering the rears hidden under the carpet in the front storage. It is not 100% finished but just a few odds and ends need to be completed to have a truly one of a kind Interior. There are no cracks in the dash, just a small imperfection on the far passenger side. EXTERIOR: Paint is rough, but is all original apart from maybe the engine lid, but it does have the original sticker so if not the paint the panel is original. There is some very mild surface rust in some paint chips and some of the seams (pictured) but is in NO WAY a structural issue and would be easily addressed during the prep work before paint. Doors and door seals are clean as well as everything under the front bonnet. This is a honest representation of a 32 year old car. The fuchs are in great shape and show very well. No curb rash. Front tires are good, rears will need replacing soon. This car runs and drives smoothly and I never had an issue with this very special 911 for the last 4 years that I’ve been driving it daily. These cars are rare and one with this mileage is even more so. Feel free to ask questions and request more photos. I will get back to you as soon as possible. I hold the right to pull the car at any time as the car is for sale locally. $1000 deposit is required when buying the car with the balance due upon pickup of the car. If the car isn't as described at time of pickup I will refund the deposit. Once it leaves my driveway it is yours.
