Up for sale is a 1948 Mercury convertible Progect. THAT NEEDS ROCKER PANEL REPLACEMENT AND SOME BODY WORK, SMALL DENTS. Car has new brakes, wheel cylinders, and mastercylinder. Engine is a 1970 chevy v8 auto trans. has a 1957 chevy rear with 308 gear ratio and parrel leaf springs. original front end with uncut wish bones. car not hacked up and could be changed back to original condition if wanted. Includes new top and pads not installed. needs wood header bow. Top goes up and down manualy very easy has electric power top motor and pistons from a chrysler not installed. all glass good. Have extra trunk with all the stainless trim that goes with the car . VEHICLE HAS ONLY BEEN YARD DRIVEN. IT HAS BEEN OFF THE ROAD SINCE 1979. NOT A FINISHED ROAD CAR.Some wiring done on the car , head, tail and brakes lights operational. Has no horn, radio or gauges. Would be a cool street rod or rat rod.
