I have owned this truck for 11 years after I bought it from my grandfather. He was not the original owner, but had owned it about 20 years from what I remember. I drove this truck for 10-20 miles when I purchased it, but it has been sitting in my closed barn since then. I had hopes of restoring it someday but time is getting away from me and I have realized I'll never get to it. It is a 3-speed "on the tree". I did rebuild the carb about 4 years ago and replaced the plug wires and had it running well. Since then, it has sat in my barn without being started. A few days ago I pulled it out and put in a new 6-volt battery and the engine does start up as you can see on the video (http://youtu.be/Tao-hwVpqHg). I believe it would stay running, but I don't want to put gas in it as the fuel tank and lines should be cleaned. The brakes worked when I bought it but do not now because they need to be bled. The body is pretty sound but does have it's share of dents and character! The bed has a sheet of metal covering the old wood floor. All windows are good and none broken. I cannot confirm the originality of any parts on this truck. Odometer shows 94484 but I don't know if it's rolled over or the actual miles on it. I know he didn't drive it much so it hasn't had much mileage in the last 30 years. Vehicle has a clear title and is sold AS IS. $150 Deposit through Paypal will be due within 3 days of auction end and is non-refundable due to paying eBay fees. Remaining balance will be due upon pick up or within 14 days of auction end, whichever comes first. Final payment must be CASH in person or CASHIER'S CHECK/MONEY ORDER if mailed and received prior to pick up. All payments to be made in US Funds only. Buyer will be responsible for transporting truck or making shipping arrangements. Seller is not responsible for any accidents. I can store the truck for 45 days following end of auction, though balance is still due as noted above. Longer storage term is possible and will have to be negotiated and paid in advance.
