1982 Honda CX500C cafe racer It has 12xxx miles on it. The paint job was done in a local professional shop with DuPont paint and 5 coats of clear. I have gone through everything on this bike except opening the engine up (no need). This bike is very fast for a 500cc. Shaft driven, no lag! I weigh 230lbs and it pulls hard with me on it. It has pod filters, stainless steel custom bent headers wrapped in fiberglass and megaphone slip-ons with modified baffles (nice rumble). Carbs have been professionally rebuilt rejetted and tuned to match all modifications. Clubman handlebars with Renthal sportbike grips. All brake pads and parts have been replaced and adjusted. Tires have plenty of life left. Front forks were just rebuilt. Rear shocks were replaced. New battery kept on tender over the winter. Rims, front forks, front fender, and radiator guards powder coated to match the engine. A lot more was done to it, too much to list. The Pictures speak for the bike! I installed new headlight brackets, clutch and front brake levers, chrome brake fluid cover, chrome clubman bars, and Renthal handlegrips. I also embedded a youtube vibeo. On Apr-19-14 at 15:02:52 PDT, seller added the following information: I thought I should also mention that there is about 3 inches of padding on the seat in two different foam pads. This is simply to make it comfortable to ride. If you desire a 2" pad can be removed to add to the "cafe look" bucket seat. I also have a 2nd set of rear shocks that sit 2-3 inches lower in case you want a lower seat. The front triple tree can be lowered on the shocks also to lower the front end.
