Vehicle Detail
2005 BMW K1200LT with about every option BMW had in 2005. The bike is in great shape. It is ready for the road. This motorcycle comes from the factory with tons of accesories. It comes with heated seats and handgrips, a windshield that raises and lowers at the touch of a button. The center stand raises with a touch of a button. It has reverse, ABS brakes, electronic case locks with alarm and vanity light, dashboard light and down lighting. It has an electronic cruise control like the one in your car. It comes with an onboard computer that calculates MPG, distance to empty, temp, and a trip meter. These are all the standard items with the bike. The follow items were added by the dealer. AM/FM/CD player for both rider and passenger. BMW Navigator II with voice assist through the helmet (with headset) Adjustable Floorboards J Pegs to rest feet on CB Radio with NOAA Weather. Satalite RadioBackrest Armrests for Passenger Cup Holder Extra Tall Windshield Lighted signals in the side mirrors FRS Radio Electronic High Frequency Deer Horn2 Keys and 2 Key Fobs with Remote Central Locking and Alarm It comes with the oil filter wrench that is specific to this bike. Known issues Master Brake Cylinder has brake fluid sepage. This has not been a problem for me. I have added brake fluid once since I owned it. The FRS radio input has a loose connection.GPS lost the protected cover (aftermarket?). Still seems to be waterproof, but has sticky spots on it. It may need repaired. See PicturesHeadlight adjustment screw does not work. (Have never needed it). Headlights are adjusted and work great.Typical scratches or marks for a bike of its age. The bike had the expensive 12000 mile service including the valve adjustment done at dealership. Has low miles, but will be ridden daily and therefore have some additional miles added to it. If you do the research on this bike, you will see that these bikes usually last well over 100,000 miles. On Apr-12-14 at 10:02:28 PDT, seller added the following information: The headlight adjustment screw problem has been solved and now works.
