**************PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD************* I AM SETTING THIS AUCTION WITH NO RESERVE! I AM LISTING WITH A BUY IT NOW PRICE LESS THAN I HAVE WORTH OF PARTS, NOT INCLUDING ALL OF THE TIME INVESTED. JUST HAVE OTHER OBLIGATIONS PENDING AND AM PRICING FOR A QUICK SALE. AS SOON ASNE BID IS PLACED THE BUY IT NOW WILL COME OFF. THANKS! Thanks for checking out my Turn Key 72 Bay Window Bus, Everything has been gone through on this bus! All new electrical wiring, and fuel system replaced, as well now has a low mile (30k) 1.9 Turbo Diesel engine purchased from Quality German Auto Parts, they are a direct importer of VW replacement parts. . This is the highly sought after AAZ engine code. Has completely rebuilt and tuned Bosch injection pump, as well as new Bosch fuel injector nozzles, all pop tested and ready for a long service life. Also worth mentioning, new alternator, changed Timing Belt, and tensioner at pump install, new battery, new clutch/pressure plate/ flywheel/ pilot bearing, new tires, Just replaced both front calipers and hoses, rear brakes are great, new seals about a year ago, all of the doors open and close really smooth and nice. I also have 2 new black vinyl seat covers for front seats, that are not installed, but included. this is the only diesel bus I know of, and using all Factory Vw engine/bellhousing/transmission/flywheel, no cheesy adapter plates of any kind. Has all new Torqu Flo electric cooling fan, with temp switch, nice AutoMeter boost gauge, and EGT gauge, temp gauge, Runs awesome, get stopped everywhere I go in it. Best part is an easy veggie burner conversion, and can help with that if paid in full. Only selling after all of this work due to changing careers and raising funds for start up. Thanks for checking it out. Oh, and gets about 35 miles a gallon in town. Would be a perfect to pull your Ghia to the track? Let me know if your interested. Engine bay was all sanded and primed, sanded again, and painted white/black, and has reflective backed wool sound deading material on the underside of the rear deck to keep the clickity clackity to the tailpipe and not in the cab, very quiet inside, all you hear is the turbo spooling, not a bad thing in my opinion. These engines came stock in VW Golfs, Jetta's, Passats, and many more, and have been a very popular swap in Vanagons, and many light 4x4 Conversions. Not hard to see why, with there great fuel mileage, and longevity, many on the road with over 300k miles on them and running perfect. I have done over a dozen diesel conversions, and as you can see, I keep everything as simple as possible, and tastefully clean. The floors are solid, and look new under the rubber floor mat, overall a really nice van, there are minor paint imperfections that you can notice up close, but just normal rock dings or what have ya. Nothing major by all means, there is a small spot on the drivers side middle under the windows that had a stick on decal of sorts, and peeled up a litt, Just do not want to give the impressions it is a show quality trailer queen, but definitely a way above average nice cruiser. Also, has all new wood slat luggage rack installed. It Does not have A/C, I got a lot of questions about that before. Email with any questions and will get right back to you. I am posting a couple of videos to You Tu.be, just search "BAY WINDOW DIESEL BUS" and it should pop up. Great way to take a fun road trip in a cool vw van and have all the modern day reliability and fuel economy of German Diesel power.
