This incredible original condition 1975 XL75 has been in storage from 1975 to sometime early 2000's. It has just been used as a pit bike at vintage race car events in the Northern California area. It has some wear marks on the frame where the shoes have rubbed against the frame and has a few little marks here and there but they are very nominal. I cannot imagine a potential buyer finding a cleaner and nicer original condition 1975 bike. There was no point in trying to restore it since it has more value in its present pristine state. It has always been stored inside and proper maintenance was always done by the owner (an engineer). The ideal buyer would be local collector that can come to see the incredible original condition of the bike. I will not sell this bike to anyone other than a collector it would be tragedy to see this bike go to someone that just wants a small bike for their child to learn on. I can provide more pictures and a video with the bike running to show how smooth the motor runs. It has had a few things replaced that I will note below but for the most part the bike is just as it came of the showroom floor; with an added 500 miles travelling around the pits. It has a very slight leak in one fork seal. There is the typical oxidation on the forks but still better than any other bike I have seen of this age. I am selling this bike for my father and he is not terribly motivated to see it other than the fact that he already has 4 other nice pit bikes. The front fender did get a little dented but I have straightened it out and put it back to original condition including the correct paint color. The title was lost and has been out of the system since the mid 70's. The buyer will be responsible for filing for new registration.
