Barn find original Fiat 600 2 door Berlina Ready to restore or create your own Abarth 850TC replica! Fresh out of the barn and ready for you to take over. Ok, actually my cousins shop, but still currently inside and dry. I was going to restore this with my son, but life happened and his grandmother bought him a Toyota, so my loss is your gain. This cute little Italian has been sitting for awhile now and I'm just not going to get to this one. It is a pretty solid and fairly complete little restoration project. The engine appears to be complete and the original 633cc inline four. It will need to be rebuilt, I'm sure. I never tried to start it. I just would plan to do it with the restoration, or remove to add the 850 or 1050 Abarth engine of your choice. It was rumored to have the D transmission in it when I bought it but I can not verify this for certain. She has little rust and is fairly straight. I would recommend purchasing floorpans and welding in, especially drivers side. It is a common need on these and I believe they are still available as cheap replacements. All structure to weld to looks pretty solid though. Other than that it has rust on bottom of the spare tire pan and a little square patch needed where the front fenders come together. Both pretty common. It has a little crease on the driver rear fender around the wheel well. Otherwise fairly straight and little rust for one of these little gems. The metal is really easy to work on these, so little to worry about. I think all the parts and trim are there but I am not positive. I know I even tracked down the air cleaner which is less common on these. All glass is there, will need new straps for the front seats and possibly new covers and maybe redo door cards. What you see is what you get (with the exception of that windshield laying there which goes to some English car). She's light weight and rolls easily. If you use "Buy-it-now", I will throw in the "850" core engine (903cc) I was going to use for the Abarth version, the nicer 850 front spindles and disc brakes, the extra 600 engine cover, miscellaneous sheet metal and whatever other parts I find before it leaves that are suitable for this car as all my other Fiats are twin cams. You are welcome to come look at this little diamond in the rough. I can show it weekday evenings after work with notice and on the weekends. It is currently located just east of Salem, Oregon.
