UFO Pulse Litestar 

This Pulse was FULLY restored, not just cosmetically restored. Some of you may remember it from the Pulse Rallys. 

This Pulse was also invited to be exhibited at the 2011 New York International Auto Show in the Jacob Javits center in NYC this past April where it was the PEOPLES CHOICE OVERALL WINNER for the Très Petite Concours. (The New York International Auto Show is the oldest show (established in 1900), largest show (814,000 sq. ft.) and most attended auto show in North America with over 1 million spectators per show. This Pulse was only 1 of about 40 privately owned vehicles displayed at the show. It was quite an honor.) 

This Pulse has been stored in an indoor garage since the build under a California Car Cover Company “Superweave” car cover custom made specifically for this Pulse. The $340 Superweave cover is one of the best covers available on the market and will be included with the auction. 

This Pulse was built with all name brand components from major manufacturers such as Kawasaki, Painless, Ron Francis, Watsons Streetworks, Wise, HPC, Optima, Timken, Monroe, etc. I will provide copies of the build receipts to the new owner. 

Some key points: 1. 2004 water cooled Kawasaki 500R donor- full clip, not just engine. 

2. PLANETVMAX.COM megaphone mufflers with gorgeous billet end caps. The Kawasaki headers were then aluminum ceramic Coated to lower “under hood” temperatures and keep exhaust gases accelerating by containing the exhaust gas temperature for the highest level of performance. 3. Two additional SPAL cooling fans were added on an adjustable thermostat so they are turned on and off automatically if needed. 

 4. Custom fabricated polished stainless steel air scoop to the belly pan for additional air flow. 

 5. The original Kawasaki clutch and clutch lever, as well as throttle, were intentionally retained during the build so that all factory adjustments could be made if ever needed. 

 6. A custom built polished stainless gas tank was fabricated so there would never be a rust issue. 

7. Painless Wiring harness and wire. This alone was over $2000.00

 8. Optima D34 Yellow Top deep cell battery in billet Optima mount. 

 9. Dash mounted starter button is an LED polished aluminum from Watson’s Streetworks. The rest of the switches are either Painless or Ron Francis switches. 

 10. Side stabilizer winglets totally disassembled and completely rebuilt. NOTE ***** UPGRADES THAT ARE HIGHLIGHTED IN CAPTAL LETTERING WERE JUST PERFORMED DURING THE PERIOD OF SEPTEMBER 2,2011 THROUGH OCTOBER 17TH, 2011 

 11. FRONT END COMPLETELY REBUILT WITH NEW BEARINGS, AIRSHOCKS,BRAKE LINES,FITTINGS AND HOSES. THE 1980′S TECHNOLOGY CALIPER , ROTOR , AND RENAULT ALLIANCE 13″ FRONT WHEEL ASSEMBLY AND TIRE THAT CAME STANDARD ON ALL THE LITESTAR AND PULSE AUTOCYCLES HAS BEEN REPLACED AND HIGHLY UPDATED WITH STATE OF THE ART MILLENIUM TECHNOLOGY MOTORCYCLE PRODUCTS. JON AND MIKE AT PLANETVMAX.COM REMOVED THE STOCK FRONT END , COMPLETELY REBUILDING THE FORKS WITH OVER-ENGINEERED STEERING BRACKETS AND MATING COMPONENTS , FITTINGS, AND HARDWARE TO A MUCH HIGHER LEVEL THAN THE ORIGINAL COMPROMISED COMPONENTS. 12. THE SINGLE FRONT ROTOR WAS REPLACED WITH DUAL , DRILLED FLOATING ROTORS CAPTURED BY DUAL 4 PISTON CALIPERS. 13. WE THEN FITTED A BEAUTIFUL PLANETVMAX.COM 17″ BILLET WHEEL , FRONT AND REAR, POLISHED TO A MIRROR-LIKE FINISH GIVING THE ILLUSION YOU ARE LOOKING THROUGH THE WHEEL AND THE RIM IS SUSPENDED IN MID-AIR ! WE SPOONED A HIGH-SPEED RATED ROAD RACING CALIBER SHINKO STEALTH 150/60/17 ONTO THAT BILLET JEWEL. 14. ON BOARD AIR COMPRESSOR WITH DASH MOUNTED GAUGE AND SWITCH WAS ALSO ADDED FOR THE FRONT AIR RIDE. THIS WAY YOU CAN ROLL UP AT A CAR OR BIKE NIGHT WITH THIS HOTROD AND DROP THE TIP OF THAT NOSE TO LESS THAN A FOOT OFF THE GROUND AS YOU SET YOUR SITES ON THE LOCAL FARE. 15. WHILE WE WERE UNDER THE FRONT END A FULL BLOWN MULTI-CHANNEL, MULTI-COLOR, MULTI-MODE,LED LIGHTING SYSTEM WAS ADDED . THIS STAND ALONE SYSTEM HAS A VISUAL PANEL OFF TO THE LEFT OF THE COCKPIT WHICH ALSO ILLUMINATES , DISPLAYING TO THE PILOT THE MODE OF THE EXTERNAL LIGHT SHOW. THE LIGHTING IS ALSO MUSIC SENSITIVE ON DEMAND SO YOU CAN PUT THE LIGHTING IN MOTION TO YOUR FAVORITE TUNES. 16. Professionally painted Base Coat/Clear Coat- Hugger Orange (code 72) paint while completely disassembled to avoid any overspray. 

 17. New ¼” rivnut body fasteners. The body is now held together with stainless fasteners. 

 18. Lucas taillights ordered from England, as well as 1937 Chevy Taillights as the blinkers. There is also a reverse camera mounted. Front and rear stabilizer LED marker lights are from Radiantz. 

 19. GM body mirrors from the late1970’s 

20. Interior rebuilt with brand new seats, new carpet, new steering wheel, new custom fabricated fiberglass dash, new billet switches and knobs, new dash pad, new interior panels, etc. New custom sized DOT approved seat belts were also installed. 

21. New Sony CDX-GT500 AM/FM/CD Stereo installed in the lower part of the dash. It is complimented by 4 new Alpine SPS 17C2 speakers. 

Also installed a billet/chrome MaxOut fire extinguisher that comes with the Pulse. 

 This Pulse came without a reverse and it has never been an issue. I CAN GUARANTEE YOU THAT THIS PULSE, WHICH IS #220 OUT OF ONLY 347 BUILT BETWEEN 1985 AND 1990 IS INDEED THE FINEST EXAMPLE OF A PULSE ON THIS PLANET AND ANY OTHER NEAR BY NEIGHBORING ONES! JUST ASK ANYONE WHO SAW IT AT THE NEW YORK AUTO SHOW………..AND IT HAS EVOLVED LEAPS AND BOUNDS SINCE THIS PAST APRIL.
