RARE-RARE-RARE! 1961 Pontiac Catalina Convertible, Bristol Blue...with factory A/C, factory 8-Lug aluminum wheels, and factory TRI-POWER (318 Horse Power). Also has: Power Steering, Power Brakes, Dual Exhausts and Automatic Transmission. Pontiac Historical Services (PHS) report will be included with the purchase and says "quantity built" was 543. Blue and white interior with original clear plastic seat covers on both front and rear seats. Car will need complete restoration. Surface rust on front of car. Rust through in cowl by engine compartment, and in rear cowl into trunk. All glass good. Pass door needs new door skin and minor interior door rust repair. Rust through in front of both rear wheel wells and passenger floor board - see picture. Car came to California from Florida in the year 2000, and has sat in an enclosed garage ever since. Motor turns over but I couldn't get it to start. All the Tri-Power fuel lines and linkage are intact. Ignition keys are in the ignition switch. Bill of sale only. I have in my possession Florida Certificate of Title (Pink Slip) signed off by seller naming me as purchaser which I will pass on to new buyer. Must pay in full within 10 days of auction. A 3-2 Bbl CO 543 On Apr-06-14 at 21:03:29 PDT, seller added the following information: I have verified the engine to be the ORIGINAL ENGINE. The code stamped on the engine block is CO which matches the PHS report!!!! (see picture 24). Also has the correct cylinder heads - last 3 digits are 177. Therefore all matching numbers - engine, heads, and tri-power and PHS report - everything matches! I took a picture of the two small rust holes in the trunk but ebay policy prohibits removing pictures on items which already have bids on them - and since I already have the max number of pictures allowed (24) I can't remove any of them to include the trunk picture. One hole the size of an oblong quarter, the other the size of an oblong silver dollar.
