1971 Chevrolet Chevy Malibu 2 dr hard top. Original 307 cid V8 engine, condition unknown. Automatic transmission. This part would be good to use as a parts car, or with some work it can be brought back to life. The worst of the car is that the trunk floor is completely rusted out of it. The floor pans all need replaced as well, but are not as bad as the trunk. The right quarter panel has the most rust of the outer body panels, but it could be patched and repaired. Each of the front fenders have small amounts of rust in the lower rear behind the front wheel wells. The doors look to not have rust issues, but the passenger door has some damage. I have a pair of BRAND NEW door skins still in the box that I am including with the car. The interior will need to be totally restored. This Chevelle does have factory AC, bench seat, automatic on the column. I do not have the driver's door glass, but do have glass for the passenger door. I also have all of the head lights and tail lights. The hood is pretty beat up, but the trunk lid looks to be ok. None of the tires will hold air, but we can get the car pulled up onto a trailer with little trouble. I DO NOT have a title for this car, as I did not get a title when I bought it. I will offer a bill of sale with the purchase. Please take a good look at the photos, and let me know if there are additional photos that you need. I will be happy to provide those. Please ask all questions before you bid. All sales final, so I would prefer to be asked a ton of questions before the auction ends rather than have a buyer upset that there may be something that I have missed in my description of the car. I had planned to rebuild this car, but I have simply run out of money and have to start selling off my beloved projects. All years of Chevelles are getting very hard to find, so don't let this one get away. This car is still too good to be crushed and deserves to have a second chance at being rebuilt. UPDATE!!!! - I looked at the frame the best that I could and did not find any places that were rusted through. It all looked solid but is scaley. I was not able to look at the entire frame, but the areas that are typically bad on Chevelles appears to be pretty solid.
