Vehicle Detail

Here's a 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera C2. The car holds a California salvage title, looks like the car spun out? Not sure what happened, take a look at the before pics and see for yourself. I do know the car was repaired by replacing the entire rear cradle and I also know that the motor is not original to the car although it is from a 1999 911. The odometer shows 68,XXX miles which reflects the mileage on the motor but the actual mileage on the chassis is 116,XXX. I have used the car as my daily driver and parts chaser for the last 8000 plus miles and the car runs and drives great, no issues. I have not done anything but change oil and replace the rear tires. The car is bone stock except for the CCW wheels (I don't want to sell them separately) and a set of H&R Sport springs, which I installed here at my shop. It also has a Kenwood stereo with a CD changer in the trunk. There are a considerable number of small stone chips on the nose and someone closed the hood on something leaving a small pointed dent facing outwards. The struts that hold the hood up need replaced, the console lid is missing and the remote locks are not working. Otherwise the car is quite clean overall, the interior is very nice with no rips or tears in the seats and everything else works. The front tires are 245/40/18 Blacklions with 7000 miles and the rears are 315/30/18 Pirelli P Zeros with 1000 miles. The car has no leaks and I have no evidence to suggest the IMS bearing was done. However, after doing all the research myself I decided it was not worth the time and effort to replace it, especially considering the car is a 1999. It has been a good car and very reliable, also handles great and the gearing is absolutely perfect. This has been my first Porsche and overall I have been impressed with the car.
