The classic, best VW camper. 2001-2003 are all identical and were offered in white. Why are these the best? Because they have the water cooled, front mounted, V6 fuel injected engine that puts out 201HP, automatic transmission, power ABS brakes, power windows, power mirrors, air conditioning, AM/FM/CD, and cruise control. There are also CO2, smoke, and propane detectors. On top of that, you can get up to 20mpg highway (if you keep your speed around 60mph) and...wait for it...this baby will FIT in your garage, and has always been in mine. The Winnebago full camper provides 3-way refrigeration (115V/12V/propane), a 2-burner propane stove, sink, 12 gallon water supply, grey water storage tank , an outside cold water shower, and a 12,000 BTU ducted thermostatically controlled furnace. These units do not have a hot water heater, but there is storage room for a porta-potti. There is stand-up headroom (with the pop-top up) plus seating for 5 and sleeping for 4 (truthfully, 2 adults and 2 muchkins are the best 4some, but you can do 4 adults if you're real friendly). I'm the second owner of this immaculate unit. In addition to the stuff highlighted above and the rest of the standard items, this unit has an awning, a class IV receiver hitch, and BRAND NEW canvas (installed Jan. 2014 - hasn't yet seen the outdoors). However, the bra seen in one of the pictures has been removed (was too much of a dirt trap underneath). The unit was completely gone through by PopTopHeaven in CA in Feb. 2013. All tires and both the engine and house batteries were installed new at that time (8,000 miles ago). It is a "no pets, no smokers" unit. Included is a 40,000 mile/35 month (expires 2/17) warranty on the engine, transmission, drive axle, seals and gaskets, electrical and cooling systems, and A/C.
