Call Now: TOM 352-239-3700 Attention: There are many pictures and they will take several minutes to load depending on your Internet speed. Dial up connections will take a LONG time!! We do feel that the many pictures are necessary in order to see the entire car, so please be patient. Up for auction is a 1969 Chevy Camaro Pro-touring, Resto-Mod. This Camaro has been restored using the best of today’s modern technology for performance and handling. The color is Hugger Orange, of course, with Pearl white Z28 stripes. The front bumper has been painted to match to give it the California Enduro look. The wheels are Foose Legend one-piece chrome plated wheels with Nitto Extreme directional tires, (235/45ZR17’s front & 275/40ZR18’s rear). The engine is a 396 big block that has been built by well known Glenn Trendwell for performance and detailed out to the max including powder coating the block. The motor has only 2751 miles as well as the entire car since restoration. This strong 396 has been dynoed at 427HP and comes with dyno chart, however it feels more like 450-475 to me. It is strong! It sounds strong as well with a high performance cam with 540 lift, Patriot aluminum Heads and a 850 double pumper Holley which gives it that Classic big block rumble. It runs super cool with a big aluminum radiator and electric fan. Some of the goodies under the hood include power steering, a chrome March Performance serpentine pulley system, polished headers, chrome everywhere, high gloss painted smooth firewall and fenders, and every nut, bolt, line, and fitting, new and high performance. The transmission is a new rebuilt Muncie M22 4-speed with a Centerforce dual friction clutch. It shifts perfectly and is a blast to drive! Since the picture was taken the the rear end was replaced with a “true” GM Positive Traction rear end with 3:73 Auburn Gears. The undercarriage is show quality and built with the best of modern technology for performance and handling. It has a Detroit Speed Engineering powder coated sub-frame with tubular upper and lower control arms, and coil-over shocks in the front. The rear has DSE suspension with Koni shocks. The floor pans and trunk pans are smooth as glass and show quality with new gas tank, lines, fittings, and PBR 4-wheel disc brakes. The exhaust is custom Flowmaster stainless exhaust from the headers to the rear. The interior has custom pearl white in the middle of the seats to match the hood stripes and Z/28 embroiled in the headrest also Dolphin gauges in the dash and the Premium Sound system. This car is the best of the both worlds (old & new), with the Classic 69 Camaro meets up with modern technology to create a super performance Muscle Car!
