FOR SALE OR TRADE for reliable and efficient car or truck. $4000 1981 Jeep CJ7 Laredo 3,000 miles on new long block Jeep 258 4.0L (still under warranty with all the paperwork!) with aluminum valve cover and has all the smog parts on it. I recently cleaned up the rust-free floor pan and coated it with Rhino liner. Under carriage is also rust-free. It had a small area(about 6 BB-sized spots) of rust-thru that I treated and welded up. When the engine went in I also put on new Weber 32/36 DGEV carb (smog legal), Fuel pressure regulator, battery cut-off switch, electric fan, flywheel, clutch, pressure plate and TOB, also did the Team RUSH ignition conversion. About 5,000 miles ago I rebuilt the rear AMC 20 differential with heavy-duty one-piece axels, put in a new heater core, and re-upholstered the seats (those aren’t seat covers). Comes with the standard Dana 30 front differential, Tremec T177 4-speed manual trans, Dana 300 transfer case, all in good working condition. Recently put in new battery, starter, and fuel pressure gauge. It also has Grant GT steering wheel, hard top, cargo basket on Yakima roof rack, soft doors and strapless bikini top in Nutmeg, pioneer CD with built-in EQ, 6x9s in custom ABS boxes, one 12” sub in a ported box, 4-channel amp, Bass booster capacitor, CB with Firestik. It is rolling on 31” Winston Winner A/T with plenty of tread and a brand new spare. It is currently registered, daily driven, and NOT SALVAGED title.
