I drive it once or twice a week, so it could easily be a daily driver. It handles the interstate great thanks to the overdrive tranny. And of course even with the wide rear tires, it doesn’t take much convincing to do a burn out here and there. I would be glad to answer any questions or take more pictures, just let me know. Unfortunately, I don’t know how many miles ago the engine and transmission were rebuilt. I was told by the previous owner that they were rebuilt before being installed in the truck. The engine runs really strong and the transmission shifts solid. The truck has about 70,000 miles on the odometer (also the odometer does work), but the title specifies “Unknown Mileage”. As you can see from the previous list the engine does have some goodies (crane gold roller rocker arms). It also seems to have had a cam upgrade and who knows what else. The engine likes mid or high grade gas. The transmission shifting is firm and it feels like it has a shift kit. These are things I have picked up while driving it and doing some minor work on it. Also, the engine does have a minor oil leak and the transmission also has a slow fluid leak (these are the only two leaks). As you can see from the pictures the truck has been lowered. It looks to me like it was just the springs that were cut down. The main frame and body hasn’t been permanently altered. The only thing I see that was altered is the trailing arm crossmember has a couple holes cut in it for the exhaust (which is a common mod). There is some rust damage here and there, but overall it’s a solid truck. The undercarriage is very clean, almost no rust (except for a little rot on one of the rear control arms, but these can be had for cheap. I never replaced it because it didn’t look to be damaged enough to affect the structural integrity). The body has some rust in the usual places: tailgate has a few small rust holes, bed is solid with very little rust , rocker panels have some rust, and inside door bottoms are rusty. So, long story short it has just enough rust to give it some character. The paint job on it is not great, its got some orange peel and such… The truck has a complete air conditioning system, however the previous owner told me it had a leak and I never got it fixed. So, it blows air, but it isn't cold because it currently has no Freon. Also, the ducting to the vents will need to be redone. Electrical: It looks like the electrical was updated at some point, so it has a fuse/relay box in the cab. All the signaling lights work except that the reverse lights don’t have bulbs in them (so I am not sure if they do or not). There is a cd player installed which works, there are speakers in the dash but I believe them to be original so they don’t sound good. Windshield wipers work. No dome light. As far as gauges: speedometer, oil pressure, and coolant temperature all work. Gas gauge does not work (I usually just take a look into the tank to check gas level). There are a few more gauges some aftermarket and some stock that don’t work or aren't hooked up, but you have the essentials. The wiring inside the cab is messy and will need to be cleaned up (most of the messy wiring is for the CD player and aftermarket gauges). As mentioned above the bench seat currently in the truck is not the original one, it is equipped with adjustment motors and a little control on the driver’s side. I am not sure if the adjustment works or not, as it isn’t currently wired. Also, the mounting holes don’t match up with the original mounting holes, so the seat is currently not fastened to anything. I didn't want to drill more holes in the floor, so I never mounted it. Please be aware that this is an antique truck that has never been professionally restored, it is not a show truck! What it is, is a solid truck that would be a great candidate for a restoration, or just keep driving it like it is. I will be glad to do what I can to help with shipping or pickup of the truck, but it is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange this. Clean Florida title in hand!!!
