Silver, two door 1982 Datsun 210 hatchback with sunroof, in fair/good condition. FOR SALE AS IS. Black interior with gray upholstery. Rusting in some areas, mostly in areas on the lower body of the car and some wear and tear to the upholstery, especially the front seats (see photos). The worst visible rust spot is located under the rear window on the driver's side - see photos. The car has 63,923 miles. The body of the car contains all original parts. Equipped with Viper alarm system; radio is not original (has cassette player). This car needs some TLC to bring it to top condition, but it does run well. I have owned the car for 15 years. The car has been off the road since March of 2012. There were no problems with the car that led me to stop driving it, I stopped driving it because I no longer needed a car for day to day use. Up until then the car had been inspected every June. The last inspection occurred in June of 2011. I would be happy to send more photos of rust spots, interior, etc. THE CAR IS LOCATED IN FRESH MEADOWS, NEW YORK, WHICH IS IN QUEENS COUNTY, ABOUT 20 MINUTES FROM MANHATTAN. The car battery will no longer hold a charge, even when jumped, so a new battery will be needed in order for the car to run. The car has a few areas of rust and areas where I have tried to repair and repaint over the years - see photos. The major visible rust spot is under the rear driver's side window, see photos for a closeup. Most of the other rust areas are on the lower part of the car, on both sides, and are not readily visible. As shown in the photos, the back of the car, below the bumper, has some rust issues. I can send more photos upon request. There is a wiring/fuse issue with the tail lights that will need to be fixed - the lights stay on even when the car is not running and the lights are in the off position. I believe that this would be a simple repair. This is a new issue that occurred after the car was put in storage. The hatchback does not stay open on its own, the spring mechanism that holds the hatch up has not worked since I owned the car. The hazard lights do not work and have not worked the entire time that I have owned the car. The rear defrost does not work and I was told, years ago, that it would be difficult to repair. The brakes were replaced after the car was inspected in June 2011 and have less than 120 miles of wear. I only had one accident in this car, the car was hit, at low speed, in the rear bumper, so the rear bumper is very slightly off kilter - see photo. The rear seats fold down for more room in the hatchback. The dashboard clock does not work. The "Datsun" logos on both sides of the car are starting to chip off due to wear/age. I am not sure if the air conditioning works, I never used it. There is a small plastic piece missing from the exterior of the sunroof, which held the rubber casing on the sunroof tightly, but this has not caused any problems. This should be an easy fix and was never a problem for me, there is no water leakage into the car when it rains, even when it rains heavily. The previous owners added a monogram "M/C" to the doors on both sides of the vehicle - see photos. There are small rust spots on the front and rear bumpers, I'd be happy to send photos. The National Auto Dealers Association average retail value for this car is currently $2300. The low retail is listed as $1250. The car is for sale as is.
