Considered to be one of the best "kit cars", Classic Motor Carriages, Miami, Fl. had cars in all of the major U.S. airports in the 1980's to the early 90's. The Speedster Built on a shortened VW chassis was one of the best you could buy. The thick fiberglass body was of very good quality with an integral box steel frame making it quite strong and free from creaks, groans and rattles. This car features a 1600cc all aluminum engine with dual Delorto carbs, 4 speed transmission, front disc brakes and chrome wheels with authentic Porsche hub caps. The quality of the body and related panels is very good. There doesn't appear to be any stress cracks and panel fit is smooth and even. The interior is quite spartan as is any Speedster. It has a locking VW steering column with a mid 70's 911 wheel. 150 mph speedo, tach and gauges are all mid 70's also and work quite well. There is a crack in windshield. This car runs and drives out with performance that is far better than expected! This car also comes with a soft top and tonneau cover. This car is a head turner wherever it goes and is great fun to drive. Payment You are welcome to pay deposit with PayPal or wire transfer. We prefer final payment with Wire transfer, I have been with the same bank for over 20 years and they would be happy to assist you with this. We will also accept cashiers check (certified from US bank) or money order, cash (in person) personal check (once cleared) PayPal, visa and MasterCard (there is a fee for this, please call first to determine the fee) I do need a $1000 deposit within 24hours at the end of auction. Sometimes I'm willing to work with buyer on giving the buyer a few more days if they are trying to obtain financing as I know this can take a few days. You would need to discuss this with me first so we can work together on this. Transport-ShippingI am happy to be an active part of this process from start to finish but the buyer is ultimately responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle and any pre-purchase inspections need to be done BEFORE auction ending. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, I will gladly assist in loading and be present for the transport condition form or other reasonable help.
