1937 Ford 1/2 Ton Pickup Truck - Recently acquired from the cowboy capital of the world (Oakdale, Ca)!. Truck spent the last 6 years covered up in an out building, and before that was located on a farm in Acampo, Ca. Overall the truck appears to be a great restoration candidate, with the majority of the parts still on the vehicle. Then engine and transmission are now longer there and will allow the highest bidder to determine the new power plant. The front driver fender is missing and a replacement will need to be sought after. The gauges will need to be replaced as it appears someone damaged at some point. This 77 year old truck has held up very well. There will of course need to be metal finishing and body work to the vehicle to make it really nice. Does not show any signs of rot or extensive rust. The bed floor maybe the exception that I can visually see. The frame does not appear to be 'Blown Out' or separated, which is typically for the Ford x-frame. The front window mechanism is in working order. The rockers, doors and running boards look good. I do not believe the seat is the correct year but does fit pretty well and maybe from a later year truck. The inside rear window frame is included as well as the passenger light bucket. The hood is also missing a louver and the grille has several bars missing. The truck will be sold with a Bill of Sale only. I do not have a physical title / pink slip for this truck. Buyer is responsible to check with there local motor vehicle department to determine what till be necessary for them to obtain a pink slip.
