Vehicle Detail
Hello and thanks for checking out this auction. Let me start by saying I've had this car almost 13 years and I've taken care of it along the way. For many years it was strictly a show car, only coming out on weekend and cruise nights, but now I use it more often to go to work and such. Unfortunately, I've been needing to buy an SUV for a number of years now, and I keep putting it off and putting it off. I only have a 2 car garage and won't park my cars outside, so I've finally come to the realization that this car must be sold. The reserve will be met, I have no doubt, I just hope the selling price reaches something reasonable… I have almost every receipt for the car from the day I started working on it, if that's something you'd want with the purchase. Brief history of the car. I bought it from a woman in North Jersey when I was 18. It was Samba Green Pearl when I bought it. Slowly over the next 5 years it turned into what you see now. The motor was professionally installed by Impulse Auto in Philadelphia, PA (no longer in business as far as I know), and the paint and body work was originally done by Knights Collision Center in Bensalem, PA. The car has been in many car shows, won many awards, including Top Honors at an all delSol car meet in Las Vegas. The car has also been a feature car in Sema Auto Salon. More recently, about 18 months ago, I had the exterior of the car refreshed with a full sand down and respray, done by Impact Collision in Tulsa, OK. The details of the car: Exterior: The body is very stock appearing, but the door handles, gas filler, antenna holes, and trunk key hole have been shaved. The doors now operate on an Autolock remote system, and pop open very well. The doors have GTFactory vertical door hinges on them. You have the option to open the doors about 50 percent of what a normal car opens and get in (thats what I do most of the time), or you can raise the door up like a "lamborghini" door would. The Headlights of this car are JDM (japanese spec) 1 piece units, and they are wired correctly as they would be seen in japan, utilizing the internal "city light" as the parking light. The factory fog lights are yellow tinted, and there are also JDM Filler Panels where the rear license plate goes (this made the license plate box fit the standard US Plate rather then overly wide for a Euro style plate). There are also a set of fog lights hidden behind the front bumper for added night time driving safety. Front and Rear Bumpers, as well as the side skirts, are factory. The paint color is an Orange Metallic found on the Nissan Sentra, so it's very easy to get a repair if needed. Interior: Very stock appearing, no rips or cracks. The Seats are from a MadzaSpeed Protege, and are fully functional, slide/recline. The door panels vinyl covering is lifting a little bit on the armrest, it was like this when I bought it and has not gotten any worse. The head unit is an Alpine CD Player, it's also got an Alpine 6 disk changer, and the sound comes from Kicker door speakers, Clarion rear speakers, and a JL 500 W Amp feeding 2 JL 10" subs in the trunk in an all custom enclosure. Engine: It's got a Japanese B16a, with matching computer and transmission. It was all installed by a very reputable shop in Philadelphia, PA (Impulse Auto Salon). The computer has since been upgraded with a Skunk 2 chip, and the motor now has a AEM Cold Air Intake, DC 4-1 Header, Sports Cat, and Skunk 2 muffler. At the time of the swap, the A/C, Power Steering and Cruise Control were removed. Motor has had regular maintenance performed, and is still very powerful. Most recent oil change has just been performed at Four Star Imports here in Tulsa, OK, and at that time I asked they look over the whole car since I planned on selling it, they found no issues with it (copy of bill in photos). Suspension/Tires: The suspension is by Tein, it has Super Sport coil overs on it. It has a Spoon Strut Bar, AEM Big Brakes front and rear, Rota Grid 16" Rims and Nitto Neo Gen Tires. If you have any questions at all please feel free to give me a call : 918-894-0602 (Jay). Car is available to be seen anytime, I am in the Tulsa Oklahoma Area.
