Vehicle Detail
I have owned this car since 1996, it was purchased in Santa Monica, California. I lived in Las Vegas, Nevada at the time so it has never seen snow and barely any rain in the time I have owned it. It has been sitting in covered storage since 2003, the last time it was started was probably 2005. At that time I put fuel stabilizer in the gas tank, and it has been sitting since then. The body is straight, no accident damage as far as I have ever found. The engine and transmission were rebuilt at 175,000 miles. The exhaust system was replaced with equal length racing headers and a free flow muffler. It sounds amazing, like a 3.0-liter sport bike, but the downside is the car doesn't have a catalytic convertor or heat. It also doesn't have air conditioning. It has a 6-point The Racers Group roll cage with door bars. A Momo seat. Schroth cam-lock 3-inch belts on the driver's side with 2-inch on the passenger side. Weltmeister short shift kit. Aluminum pedal covers. Momo steering wheel and shift knob. Bilstein shocks. European spec H4 headlights. As far as I know the torsion bars and anti-roll bars are stock. The engine has the pop-off valve in the airbox, Carrera tensioners and headstuds were upgraded in the rebuild. Permatune ignition. Probably a list a mile long of stuff I am forgetting. The interior and body are fairly rough, maybe rougher than the pictures might suggest, but at the same time, good for a project vehicle. It shouldn't require much body work other than paint. The wheels will need refinishing or replacement and quite a bit of the rubber on the car will need attention. The buyer assumes all responsibility for the car. It hasn't been registered since 2003 in Nevada, I will be happy to provide documentation saying it has been off the road the entire time. Just to reiterate, the car has no catalytic converter, it has racing harnesses and some of the other components are European spec and is non-operable. I am providing absolutely no warranty with the car. Buyer will have to arrange transportation for the car, as it doesn't drive currently and is non-operable. I will answer all questions in the most timely manner possible. On Feb-07-14 at 09:46:00 PST, seller added the following information: The car will be available for viewing this Saturday February 8th from 10am to 11am. If you would like to see the car please send a message and I will reply with the my contact information and the address.
