Up for sale is my 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa. I bought the car from the second owner who owned it since 1992. It is in excellent condition and has been garaged its entire life. Guards Red with Black leather interior. Car is equipped with the very desirable G-50 transmission and 3.2 liter Motronic injected engine. One of the last and best years of the classic 911 body style. It has 120,560 original miles, but looks and drives like its much less. The paint appears to be all original and shines great with only some very minor stone chips on the front air dam, front bumper, side mirrors and front of hood. There is one small ding behind the Rt. front headlight bucket which I have tried to take detailed pictures of. I didnt want to have it repaired as the paint is all original and it is hardly noticable, but I have been quoted $150 to repair it "nearly perfect" by a paintless dent removal service. The car has never been hit. There is no rust on the car anywhere, underneath is very clean and straight. I have the original owners booklet, manual, warranty book, records, and the original keys and valet/ wheel lock keys. The original Fuchs wheels are in excellent shape with no curb rash. The targa top material has been replaced recently and is perfect. All weather strip is still soft. Car is very tight. Interior is all original and mint. Carpet is near perfect with original floor mats. No wear on steering wheel, no dash cracks etc. Seats are basically perfect. There is some wear on the leather shift knob. Many of the A/C components have been replaced recently ($3000 reciept) and it blows cold. The car runs and drives great. It shifts very smooth with no grinds. Clutch is smooth and strong. Drives straight with no pulls. Engine is very strong, runs/sounds great, dry underneath with no noticable oil leaks. . Everything mechanically is original. No performance chips, still has cat. converter etc. Tires are in good shape. Original tool kit and jack. The factory cassette player has been replaced with a pioneer CD player. Only thing that I know of that isnt working is the cruise control. I never looked into what was wrong as I never use it.
