The compression was checked and all cyls. are 150-160 P.S.I. with engine cold. The engine oil, filter, fuel filter, and spark plugs were replaced. The ignition system is transistorized. The transmission and differential fluid levels were checked, radiator reconditioned.The engine starts with no problem or abnormal noises. The master cyl. was replaced to eliminate sinking of the brake pedal. The car was driven about 10 miles by me with no drive train concerns, all operate normally. The interior is in very good condition, all seats,door panels,dash and center console are all intact with no damage. The front door armrests are with the car and have to be recovered. The bezel around the speedometer and gauges is missing. The carpeting is good but faded slightly. the headliner is hanging down. The body, is straight as could be, all moldings and bumper are intact and in excellent condition other than needing some restoration if desired. The entire frame and underbody is straight and rot free with no signs of previous repairs or accidents. The roof has a minor dent at right front area, there is surface rust on areas of the body. The body near the lower right corner of the rear windshield has a small hole the size of the lead in a pencil, that has allowed water into the trunk and has created a rusted area about 6"x6" on the trunk floor the rest of the floor and seams in trunk look fine. The front windshield cowl was removed to check for rust this area is rust free. The rear lower corners of the front fenders are just starting to show signs of rust starting. The lower sections of both rear qtr. panels are rusty. This car appears to have been garaged and well maintained most of the time. This is a great car to clean up, do very little mechanical work and enjoy. To the best of my knowledge this is a true numbers matching car.
