Vehicle Detail
1974 Suzuki TM 250 Champion. NO TITLE.This motorcycle has never been restored-it has the original paint on frame, gas tank, engine, etc. Has the original seat cover which needs replaced. Engine only has a few hours on fresh rebuild .At that time a 75 TM250 transmission was installed which has tighter gear ratios to eliminate the annoying gap between 2nd and 3rd gears that earlier TM250's had. Engine runs strong ,shifts and clutches as it should, has great compression and is jetted well for my 800ft elevation. Has a Circle-F pipe that has a couple small dents on the bottom. Engine currently has TS250 kickstarter installed but I have the original included with the bike and it is in good condition. CCI oil injection was removed long ago. Original airbox is intact but top cover is missing. Tires are Dunlop 756 in great condition. Chain and sprockets good. All wheel bearings and chassis bearings are tight. Cables in good condition. Fork seals leak and will need replaced . Original bars are slightly bent and have a good chrome finish. No rust on fork tubes. Throttle has been replaced with a side pull. Right side cover number plate is cracked. Rear shocks are Boge and in good condition and work well with the bike. Has aftermarket modern foot pegs. Fuel tank has no rust and has a couple dings-no repairs or leaks. Seat bas is solid with no rust. Wheels are true, spokes all present and tight. Rear fender is replaced by a Cycle Am-front section is original. Brakes work excellent! With the exception of the fork seals this bike is ready for vintage motocross racing. Again there is no title. Shipping is up to all bidders to estimate on their own. I am willing to help but will not crate and break the bike down for shipping. I am willing to meet winning bidder in St.Louis, Kansas City or Springfield Missouri if the i'm compensated my fuel cost and the motorcycle is paid for in full before meeting. This would have to take place on a weekend. Please ask any questions before you bid. Check my feedback and thanks!
