Up for auction today is a 1973 Plymouth Road Runner. This was originally a 400 car, but that motor is long gone and now has a healthy 383 in its place. Holley 4 barrel carburator and a pretty big cam. Has headers with a flowmaster exhaust. Sounds nice!! This is not a midwestern car, and the body, floor, trunk and frame are solid. The paint is pretty nice, but not perfect. It could use some wet sanding in a few spots, nothing major. This has a base coat clear coat paint job. The car is pretty much the same way I bought it. The rear bumper is straight, but is pitted. Its a great bumper to be rechromed. The inside is as nice as you see. The dash has a few cracks like they all do, but does come with a cover. The decals are decent, but the passenger side decal on the sail panel could be replaced. (they do sell those). I get compliments on this car everywhere I go with it. There are a few oil drips that I have not chased down. The transmission pan is an aftermarket chrome one, and the gasket appears to leak. The tires are decent and have plenty of life left. The rims are perfect. Has a spare tire, no jack. This a fun driver quality car! . I am not the original owner if the car and can not speak to the history of the car.
