car is complete except for rear buick badge on trunk .....this car would make a bad ass low rider resto-mod ..... very rare buick ... very few made ....... worth a lot with a full restoration ..... needs full restoration ......does have some rust but nothing horrible ...... drivers floor board and trunk floor need to be replaced ....... minor in other places .... has new window glass for all side windows , and new tires ... On Nov-29-13 at 08:58:21 PST, seller added the following information: two important things have come up on this car.......... #1 the car has a new battery ( the long skinny ones that come stock ) it definitely had a charge but not much....... and when I turned the key, it would only click and not turn over I wanted to be sure that it was fully charged cause if you let them go completely dead and it freezes ...... they become worthless ...... I charged it up full but it still just clicked when I turned the key ...... bottom line ... I cannot be sure of the condition of this motor ...... the guy I got it from said that he hooked a gravity feed can of gas to it cause the gas line is not hooked up ( the tank has sediment and needs to be cleaned ) and started it up .....he said it ran fine ..... this , I took his word on and did not verify my self ............ of coursr if you intend to build a low rider resto-mod ......... this is a moot point #2 This car is also advertised on craigslist .......... have a look if you want ......... Denver craigslist , 1947 buick ........... it is listed for $4000 and I have an offer of 3500 ...... I told him I would sell it to him for that price if the auction did not beat it ........... but I think it will ...........so I told him that he would have to wait for the end of the auction ........... bottom line ......... I reserve the right to sell it to the highest bidder .......... be it some one on E-bay or craigslist ............ On Nov-29-13 at 09:20:09 PST, seller added the following information: unbelievable ! ........... I just called the craigslist bidder to confirm that he was still in and now he says that he needs to sell 2 other cars to come through with his offer ....... now he wants to trade the two project cars for my buick and I am not interested in what he has .............. so it's wide open again ....... I'd rather take a little less money and be done with it .......... I'm ready for a vacation somewhere warm ........ not another project or something to sell before I go !!!!!
