I have for sale a beautiful 1982 Collector Edition Corvette. It has only 22,900 miles. You can check carfax and the included autocheck to confirm the mileage. This car sat in my uncles garage for over 25 years. He was a doctor and seldom drove it. I bought the car from him last year and had it shipped to me in Long Island, NY. I thought I would drive it but it is just sitting in my garage. I am sure someone that is into corvettes would be much better off with the car. It runs and starts perfect. Also includes a Franklin Mint Model of the car and a dealer brochure that I also got from my uncle with the car. Being that this car spent all of its life in Miami, it is rust free. It is on its second set of tires. They are Eagle tires and have less then 100 miles on them. You can still see the rubber nubs on the sidewall. The car is 31 years old and is being sold as is with no warranty. Some small scratches here and there and a small patch on the front quarter that needs to be touched up. Otherwise the paint is in very good condition with a nice shine. Couple of usual leaks for a car of this age in the form of small drips I see on the tarp underneath the car.. I had the gas tank and the brakes replaced when it arrived. My mechanic told me that the gas in the tank was probably bad due to the 25 years the car sat. So we just replaced the tank at that time. Runs excellent and in excellent condition. I was instructed to place plywood and a waterproof tarp under the car where it gets parked in the garage to make sure no moisture gets to the car. It is also covered which also comes with the car. I also have moisture packets in the cabin to further protect from moisture. This was all done by my uncle who told me to continue the procedure so I did. I can show pictures of the garage and plywood and tarp / cover etc if you would like.
