1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport You are bidding on this original 1970 Chevelle Super Sport car. This Chevelle was born a true SS 396/ 4-Speed/ 12 Bolt Posi Car. Please read my description completely so you know exactly what your buying. DESCRIPTION/ CONDITION... 70 Chevelle Super Sport. Originally a 396 V8/ 4-spd. Now has a non-running 350 V8/ Automatic. Power Steering & Power Front Disk Brakes. The Previous owner told me it has a 4:11 posi differential. This car has been parked in a corn crib for nearly 24 years. BODY... Needs Quarter Panels, Trunk Lid, Lower Front Fenders. Cowl Hood Is Good. Left Door Needs A Small Weld Repair. Right Door Is Nice Inside & Out. Both Doors Open & Close Perfectly. Rocker Panels Both Very Nice. No Grille. Bumpers Decent But Need Re-Chromed. TRUNK... Trunk Floor Has A Little Rust Towards The Rear But It's Savable. Very Decent Around The Inner Wheel Houses. As Most Of These 70 Chevelle's Do The Trunk Seal Edge Is Getting Rusty. I Have Most Of The Badges & Around 90% Of It's Stainless Steel Trim. INTERIOR & FLOOR PANELS... Dash Is Decent But Needs A New Pad. The Driver's Side Door Panel Is Getting Bad Towards The Bottom. The Right Side Door Panel As Well As The Rear Plus The Kick Panels Are Decent. Headliner Is Bad. The Driver's Side Floor Needs Replaced. The 4- Speed Shifter Hole Has Been Covered With Sheet Metal When The Automatic Was Installed. The Front Passenger Floor Has A Small Hole. The Right Rear Floor Is Good. The Left Rear Floor Has A Small Hole But For The Most Part It Is Still Quite Solid & Repairable. The Clutch Pedal Was Cut Off Above The Pedal And The Rest Of It's Still Intact. Both Front Bucket Seats Are Restorable. The Rear Seat Back Is There But The Bottom Part Is MIA. The Center Hump Below The Rear Seat Needs A Weld Repair.(It's solid but was torn years ago from a drive shaft malfunction) The Glass Other Than The Windshield Is All Good. This Chevelle comes with a Illinois title application signed by the previous owner & a copy of the last registration. I have described this car in detail. This Chevelle SS really isn't as bad as I described it but I don't want some amateur restorer buying this car thinking it's an easy fix. This is a true Super Sport. These are getting harder & harder to find everyday so it deserves to be restored to it's original glory.
