1931 Chevy 5 Window Coupe, has has around 10,000 miles on it, fresh professionally built motor. The ALL Steel unchopped body was very straight & in great condition when I got it. I encourage anyone to contact me prior to bidding with any questions. I have been building/buying/restoring & selling hot rods since I was big enough to reach the fender with a sander. This is a rare one and will keep a smile on your face every time you turn the key. Started with a very clean All steel Texas coupe body, we stripped and epoxy primed all of the sheet metal and painted it a high metallic blue (mid 60's gm color) . Engine-Fresh, Professional built, motor, 350 chevy block with a 307 crank (so its a large journal 327)- late 60's camel hump fulie heads, 2.02/1.6 valves, screw in studs, guide plates- 512-524 split duration voodoo cam- petronix ignition in old style distributor- victor jr intake with 650 edelbrock carburetor- early 60's nova fender well headers with baffles to keep noise level down- Short water pump with chrome pulleys- Aluminum Radiator Transmission- late 60's Muncie 4 speed- 11 in clutch- 50's heavy duty cast bell housing REAR END- 1968 Ford 9 in- 3.25 limited slip diff-old school gasser style ladder bars CHASSIS- Original 1931 Chevrolet Frame- Parallel leaf springs (Taken apart sand blasted, painted & reassembled)- 1948 Willis Jeep Steering column/box- Heavy Duty steering rods with Heim joints- 1920's Ford Model T gas tank Cleaned & Lined- 1960's Ford Truck Drum Brakes (ALL NEW)- 1936 International Front Axle - Aluminum Slot Wheels (15 X 4.5 Front & 15 X 8 Rear with fairly new tires)- Ford Model T Front Axle ends were modified for headlight & shock mounts- Professional built & balanced drive shaft INTERIOR- Classic industries gauges- 1955 Chevy Ignition & light switch plates- inside sprayed with undercoating for noise reduction- black carpet with insulation- Dash was sectioned 2" & painted about 3 shades darker blue than exterior- 1980's Dodge Dakota Bench Seat narrowed 3" on sliders- Stained Roof wood insert, covered in white vinyl and removable with screws - Have door latches but not installed and in great shape ( Doors latch with sliders)- Battery located in trunk - Trunk floor riveted stainless sheets- Original Rear window regulator in great shape BODY- All original steel unchopped 5 Window coupe- New front end quarter glass & new seals- Most of the original wood was replaced with metal reinforcement, some original wood still existing in door panels- Body Channeled 5" over frame- Stripped to bare metal, sealed and painted. Very minimal body work was required (This was an unbelievable nice/straight body to begin with).
