This is a low mileage, legitimate, RUST FREE, Diesel, 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Truck with AC. It is equipped with the 1.6L 4 cylinder diesel motor paired with a 4 speed manual transmission. It is Forest Green with Autumn Tan interior. A truck like this is simply impossible to find! This is the cleanest, original diesel Rabbit Truck we have ever come across. This specific truck was purchased new and kept in the same family. We have known of it's existence for years, and tried to purchase it on many occasions. After a lot of persistence, the gentleman finally decided to sell it to us. Cosmetically you can see the truck was not abused. The paint is original and still looks very nice with no major flaws in the body. Minor scuffs and nicks in the paint but otherwise in excellent condition. This truck is RUST FREE. We have provided all necessary photos to support this. The frame horns, strut towers, under carriage, suspension components, window surrounds, etc... All free from any cancerous rust spots. The truck is 100% solid. The bed of the truck is also in amazing condition. It had a camper top covering it for nearly all of it's life. The interior is in immaculate condition. No rips or tears in either of the seats. A crack free dash. Original stereo system that works as it should. Mechanically the truck is in great shape as well. It runs and drives as it should. The suspension, steering, brakes, everything feels amazing. We have completed all service work to bring it up to date on maintenance. This is an AC truck with operable, cold AC. The injection pump has just be re-sealed and is properly timed. All belts are new including the timing belt. Clutch and transmission feel great, as they should.
