This car was originally restored by our own Steve Byers, our air cooled curator, if you will. A local client and good friend of our company viewed this car years ago at our very own Bug-In Invetational show and fell in love. As they say "everything is for sale", and a new adoption was completed. This car has been beautifully repainted in Porsche's Speed Yellow yet retains its original black interior. The Porsche 17" cup alloys are also a nice addition and, for a more aggressive stance, drop spindles with narrow beams at 2 1/2" were installed. The engine was built up to 1776cc with an Engle 110 cam and dual 40mm Weber carbs. Coupled with the A1 stainless exhaust, this car has a wonderful tone. The transmission is stock but was rebuilt and retains its 4 forward gears. The interior is in wonderful condition and the one item that deviates from stock is the upgraded radio / CD and speaker system. Recently, the current owner has decided, after many wonderful years of driving, it is time for something different and is now consigned with us for sale. This car has been maintained by our own "curator" since the current owner took possession of the car and, so, to say this car is well maintained is an understatement.
