This is a 1978 Suzuki RM125C. These are hard to find. This one is in pretty good shape for its age. It has never been restored but some items have been repainted (engine, exhaust pipe, side stand, front and rear fenders) for corrosion resistance or for appearance, but all could use a proper repainting if it is to be restored. I am not the original owner. The bike starts first kick and runs good, though it needs to be rejetted to clean up the top end performance. The carburetor has been cleaned and looks like new inside. The air filter is new. This bike is a rider. It is not a restored mantle piece. There is the usual corrosion and light rust here and there (swingarm, rims, forks, shock springs, shock reservoirs, spokes, etc) for a 35 year old dirt bike. Some of the frame tabs have been re-welded. Every part of the bike shows normal wear except for the new OEM front number plate and the like-new seat cover and rear tire. The tank has the usual light scratches in the plastic and the stick-on tank lettering is bubbled up. The sprocket cover is missing. Rear tire has excellent tread. Front tire has normal wear. Chain and sprockets are decent though not new. The side covers are aftermarket but are near new. New ones (OEM) are available occasionally on eBay. The front and rear fenders have been painted. The tank has not been painted. The bars are slightly bent down on the right. The silencer clamp was fabricated from steel flatbar. It needs a side stand spring. The suspension works well. The bike appears to have had plenty of hours on it but it is still pretty solid. It is 100% complete except for the sprocket cover and side stand spring. Just a little attention and tuning and this would be a good, reliable racer or a good candidate for a ground-up restoration without having to search for parts. There are lots of parts for these bikes available on eBay. Buyer must pick up in Owensboro, KY. Or you can have it shipped by a motorcycle shipper. I will not crate it.
