Motorcycle ("Big Red") has been maintained mechanically by a professional BMW motorcycle mechanic. Never left outdoors. Very reliable bike. Never broke down. Excellent running condition when last rode. Not ridden for 2+ years; needs annual service. Sold in as-is condition. Bike has been lowered to fit my short stature. I am 5'2" tall with a 27" inseam (very short legs). I can just touch when wearing platform motorcycle boots. Handlebar set-backs added for straight seat. I am the third owner. First owner brought bike back from Germany and willed it to his neighbor (the 2nd owner). Notice German and English labels in picture. Original tool kit and literature are included. Highly desirable rigid saddlebags lock on and swing off to function like suitcases. Everything is original to the bike other than whatever necessary to lower the bike (shorter shocks, lower profile tires, etc.) Has larger carburetor typical of the European bike. Full Windjammer faring including detachable lowers. Great leg protection for riding in cold weather and rain. Large windshield. Very Loud Horn! Very powerful bike. Has almost pulled me off the seat when I accelerated too fast. Well balanced - wonderful lean when cornering. Payment must be made in full before bike leaves. Certified or Bank check preferred. Buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for shipping. There are companies that specialize in transporting motorcycles. I purchased this bike on eBay and had no problem shipping it from Oregon to NY.
