This car was literally saved from oblivion in a last second purchase by a hopeless gear head (namely me). ONLY AN EXTREMELY SKILLED AND AMBITIOUS BUILDER would attempt a restoration on this car. BAD NEWS: Although the pics may not show it, it is a real rust bucket that has been patched up with screen wire, duct tape, wadded newspaper, pop riveted scrap metal and Bondo! Only the roof panel remains unmolested. GOOD NEWS: it has an intact dash, good steering wheel, rebuildable front and back seats with original upholstery, and a complete set of headliner strips. 90% of the exterior stainless steel is present and usable, front and rear windshields are intact and in decent shape. The engine, 3 speed trans, and rear end are there but it does not run and I have not attempted to crank it. I will also include misc. stainless trim rings and wheel covers that are in the trunk. THIS IS A PARTS CAR. It could be used to convert a two door post (or whatever) into a cool hardtop. BEST NEWS: I have a clean title to this car. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY; I can't deliver!
