Selling my 1976 Pontiac Grand Safari Station Wagon. Title says 140000 miles, but this was bought from the estate of the original owner and I have seen the car for the past 25 years and it was hardly ever driven! 455 CID with 400 turbo transmission, 4 barrel carb. Runs well, exhaust has a tick from the manifold (like all factory exhaust did in those years). I would replace exhaust anyway. Car is blue with blue interior. Interior is in excellent shape. Carpet is somewhat dirty, but otherwise seats, dash, door panels, etc. are very good. For some reason someone cut the shoulder harness part of the seatbelts for both the driver and RF passenger, lap belts work fine and replacements are not hard to find out of any 74-76 GM B body car. Body is solid with just light surface rust in small areas (see photos) wood grain is very good. Other than being brown from surface rust the frame, pans, etc. are clean Paint seems a little thin on top but not bad at all (does not need a repaint). Rear window works just fine (slides into roof). Rear tailgate also works well except it does not seal firmly against the window, it appears the last gear on the motor may be stripped? Closes 95% tight, just not tight enough to be totally waterproof. Car is loaded with options, gauge package, remote sport mirrors, tow hitch, electric brakes, tranny cooler, temperature control, am/fm 8 track, load leveler system (not sure it works, don't know how). Newer huge radiator, both front seats are power, power windows, cruise (works), air (works and is converted), power tailgate and window, and remote power switches at the dash for them. Car runs and drives down the road very well for it's age (and weight!). Bidders are free to view car in person if possible. Seats are in fantastic shape, the driver's side seat has a small crack in the material right by the power control but that is it. Also the spare tire area (where they all rust out) is solid.0
