This is my very solid nice running, rust free VW Westfalia camper van. I have done a lot to it over the past two years to make sure it is ready for long camping trips. It is a daily driver--always starts right up and runs very smoothly. In my two year .tenure with the Westy, I have put in a new battery, alternator, all new brakes including master cylinder, new automatic transmission, new windshield, new muffler. Prior to me, it was lovingly cared for in the Pacific Northwest--and I have more than 10K in receipts. The engine was rebuilt. It has the refrigerator and stove and all the original curtains. The Westy looks very nice and I get a lot of friendly compliments along the road. It has a few minor dents and scrapes which are not very significant (see the pictures). The lights and gauges work except for the fuel gauge which works sometimes and other times not. It has lived its life in Washington and Oregon and so has not been exposed to harsh winters or salt.
