1967 GTO Convertible. 4 spd V-8 (400 CI). This car is show ready. I have been working on her for over a year replacing just about everything on the car. Here are some of the new items I replaced: New engine, cam, carburetor, alternator, starter, battery, oil pump, steering box, speedometer cable. New brakes, including adding power disc in front. New exhaust system. New cloth top (same material used by Mercedes) New paint (Victory Red) New radio (retro looking but able to play ipod) New 15” Rally II wheels and BF Goodrich raised letter tires. All the chrome trim has been removed and all the small dents taken out and the trim polished. I have had the car 2 years. The people I bought it from told me it had a full off frame restoration 10 years before and supplied me with photos of that process. I have kept most of the old parts I removed and they will go with the car. The car is not perfect and does not have matching numbers. But it is in very good condition and runs great. I showed the car this past summer and won two sponsor awards. So it is ready to show or drive.
