Up for your consideration and bidding is my 1973 Datsun pickup. I bought this over 3 years ago from a gentleman in Arkansas. He bought it for the engine and parked it. It sat for a couple of years before I bought it. It was complete except for the engine. I found a 1600 engine in Ohio that was from a Datsun 510-same type engine. I had the head redone-$275. it needed new rings and pistons because it was stuck. It has a new clutch with new slave and master cylinder and new hose. The wiring harness was cut and spliced and pretty bad. I went through it and redid it right. The engine cranks,but I haven't started it. My weak areas are distributors and carburetors,and I can't get anyone to help me,so That's as far as I got. The front brakes have new shoes and wheel cylinders and hoses.I bought the stepside bed last spring . It was in Illinois and had been on a Ford Courier. The bed floor had been replaced with heavy diamond plate. The mounting brackets had to be removed because they were in the wrong place for a Datsun. One bracket was rusted so bad I had a replacement made. I should mention here that the bed is just sitting on the mounting brackets,and they need to be welded to the bed. They are bolted to the frame. A step was missing,so I had 2 of those made. There's no tailgate. The taillights are from a Dodge 3500 series and new. The fenders had big flares on them,so i redid them. Still not perfect,but not bad at all. The gas tank is not mounted. It needs a bracket made and welded to the bed, the other 2 tank brackets mount to the mounting channels on the bed. The cab does have some rust. The worst being the drivers side. I have a replacement floor pan for that side that was made in Thailand.I have replacement rocker panels too. Someone made covers to fit over the rockers to cover the rust instead of fixing them. Go figure. The interior is fair. It does have white face gauges with a tachometer. Grant GT steering wheel. Dash pad is cracked as usual on these. The roof has sound deadener on the inside,and the rest of the roll comes with the truck. New rear window seal. Door panels are pretty decent. This comes with a lot of extra pieces too. A set of stock wheels and tires (bad) and stock hubcaps. Stock steering wheel,original outside mirror (rare) New front bumper,fender emblems, another Datsun radio,and the California Stepside rear bumper. I have the stock bed if you want it. There's some other goodies that go with it too. Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. I will help if I can. This truck has a clear Indiana title in my name. This truck does NOT run,so don't even ask if you can drive it home. I sell only to the lower 48 states. No overseas bidders,please. This truck has no warranty implied or given. It is sold as-is.
