This is the rare Prospector edition, with power windows, cruise control, heavy duty 3/4 ton suspension excellent for towing a travel trailer or boat, cold A/C, excellent brakes, super quiet engine and exhaust that starts on the first turn. Van appears to have been garaged most of its life. This van is in ORIGINAL condition right down to the pioneer am/fm/cassette stereo and original hubcaps. The interior is original with everything still intact. We got this on a trade and the owner said they were the 2nd owners. Van appears never smoked in, and smells like it. There is wear on the seats but no tears on them. Door panels are faded with sagging map pockets. The carpet is 29 years old and is faded from dark brown to green. There is a tear near the rear door in the cieling. A little tlc like a new carpet(it is faded/worn and some stains in cargo area. There is a small amount of rust bubblling under the paint in several places, but for a 29 year old antique, that ain't bad. One of the rear door hinge pins is frozen and broke, but door still opens. Body is pretty dent free. The back bench seat lays flat to camp in. There is a luggage carrier on top. Brakes are excellent. I have bought and sold at least over 200 dodge vans in my dealer career, and this one is definately a keeper. It is not perfect, concourse, or anywhere near that, but I haven't heard a 29 year old van run that well, ever. I remember how these vans sounded when new, driving and shifting, and this one is darnded CLOSE. I drove this Prospector a couple weeks, about 350 miles, and had a blast, getting complements at times. The ride is smooth. Paint is very glossy, tires have a season left, brakes excellent, not dripping/using any fluids, can be driven home with confidence. If you are wanting a weekend vacationer/camper or a vehicle to pull your boat to the lake, you won't be disappointed. Restoring this van would be a snap. Seats are comfy for long rides. We feel the mileage is accurate, but Indiana will not give actual miles titles for vehicles over 10 years old. Mileage will be listed as exempt. All verhicles sold on ebay are sold AS IS. Van appears to have been garaged most of its life. This van is in ORIGINAL condition right down to the pioneer am/fm/cassette stereo and original hubcaps. The interior is original with everything still intact. We got this on a trade and the owner said they were the 2nd owners. Van appears never smoked in, and smells like it. There is wear on the seats but no tears on them. Door panels are faded with sagging map pockets. The carpet is 29 years old and is faded from dark brown to green. There is a tear near the rear door in the cieling. A little tlc like a new carpet(it is faded/worn and some stains in cargo area. There is a small amount of rust bubblling under the paint in several places, but for a 29 year old antique, that ain't bad. One of the rear door hinge pins is frozen and broke, but door still opens. Body is pretty dent free. The back bench seat lays flat to camp in. There is a luggage carrier on top. Brakes are excellent. I have bought and sold at least over 200 dodge vans in my dealer career, and this one is definately a keeper. It is not perfect, concourse, or anywhere near that, but I haven't heard a 29 year old van run that well, ever. I remember how these vans sounded when new, driving and shifting, and this one is darnded CLOSE. I drove this Prospector a couple weeks, about 350 miles, and had a blast, getting complements at times. The ride is smooth. Paint is very glossy, tires have a season left, brakes excellent, not dripping/using any fluids, can be driven home with confidence. If you are wanting a weekend vacationer/camper or a vehicle to pull your boat to the lake, you won't be disappointed. Restoring this van would be a snap. Seats are comfy for long rides. We feel the mileage is accurate, but Indiana will not give actual miles titles for vehicles over 10 years old. Mileage will be listed as exempt.
