Looking to open space in my garage, so one of my treasures has to go. Here we have a customized 1997 Camaro Z28(SS conversion) in fantastic condition. I bought this car 10 years ago as a standard mint condition z28 and then spent mucho $ to make it faster, stronger and better while also converting it to how I thought SLP SHOULD have built the SS. I started by adding the SLP SS hood and the 98-02 rear spoiler (which looks much better than the 96-97) and SS rims with eagle GTs. I then had the entire car repainted to factory specs. For the powertrain, I replaced the intake with an LT4, added an edelbrock 58mm throttle body, bigger injectors, replaced the stock fuel pump and topped it off with a Powerdyne 2.5 lb SUPERCHARGER (that's $2500 alone). Added Edelbrock headers and flowmaster exhaust to let it breathe. For the transmission, rebuilt the 6 speed tremec and popped in a Hurst shifter and spec heavy duty clutch. ALL MODS DONE IN LAST 12K MILES. Car has 107k but looks nearly new due to restoration and LT1 engine was replaced at 52k. Interior is in awesome shape (no tears or stains) and everything works including the 6cd changer in trunk and all power accessories. This car looks great and flies---line up next to a mustang and watch your rear view! Also--car had a complete brake job with new ceramic pads and drilled/slotted rotors within the last 6 months. Shocks were also replaced with premium Koni 5 way adjustables New spark plug wires and platinum plugs were also added last year . Car runs perfect with zero issues---supercharger kicks in right on cue and works perfectly, as does the vacuum gauge which is pillar mounted in the interior. Every component on the car works perfectly--car has never seen rain or snow which helps to explain its condition. Thanks for looking.
