Vehicle Detail
THIS IS THE ONE YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!! You are bidding on a 1967, GT 350 Shelby Fastback tribute car. I have owned the car for the last 10 years and it has been dream to own. I am a business owner and have treated the car with the respect it deserves. Don't let the tachometer fool you as it is for appearances only, I have never raced the car. If you are looking for a car to race this is not the one...this car is a cruiser that demands attention. I purchased the car when my son was 7 and hung onto it so it could one day be his. He finally got his license and chance to drive it (with me in the passenger seat) over the summer. As it turns out he wants something with more room. So while we shop for a new Jeep Wrangler you can bid with confidence on our beautiful car. The car has not seen rain and is as much fun to drive as it looks. I can honestly say there has not been a time I have taken the car out that someone has wanted their picture taken with it or I get a thumbs up. In addition to its lowered stance and 17" American Racing Torq Thrust II rims, the Flowmaster exhaust announces your arrival. It’s a real head turner. I bought the car from a father/son team who are car enthusiasts that have restored dozens of cars. I recently contacted the father and he provided detailed information about the restoration. He has graciously made himself available should you want any additional details on the extensive rotisserie restoration process the car went through. Here is his feedback: The 1967 mustang fastback that you are bidding on went through a complete restoration. This car was completely taken apart, every nut and bolt. · All the paint and bodywork was stripped off the car. · The cowl panel, floor pans, radiator support and right fender apron are all new. · We spent hundreds of hours just on body and paint alone. · The engine is a 1985 5.0 that was rebuilt and we added a hotter cam for more power. · Transmission is a tci build with a tci 3000 stall converter. · Rear end is stock with a 350 gear. · Interior was all redone including the addition of a rollbar. · The only thing we changed were the front seats. We used a set from a 1969 mustang with head rest. · The rest of the interior we used 1967 parts. · It is just too much to list so if you have questions please call Mike at [504] 416-4363 Other Features: Outside:American Racing Torq Thrust II rims. (Deep dish in the rear) Sumitomo tires with well over half the tread left. Front: 235/40/17 Back: 275/40/17Flowmaster exhaustPaint and clear coat is very good.
