mid 1960's sears allstate compact 60cc scooter manufactured for sears by styer- Daimler- puch. body#810.94 39 plastic front fender model. I am unsure of the ex act year.this scooter has been stored inside all of its life. last licensed in 1976. and from what I see has all the original parts and equipment. the original paint and graphics show no fading or deterioration. the only rust is a small amount on the rear rim and a couple spots on the front rim. original seat is soft and pliable with no holes, rips, or tears. gas tank is almost flawless except for one small ding on the left side as shown in photo. the inside of the tank has been empty for many years and has a coating of fine rust. so the tanks inside will need to be rinsed and or relined. rear tire has been replaced (in the 1970's)and in good cond. front tire is original and in good useable condition. the only item missing on this scooter is the rear taillight lens. there is no title or registration. I will provide the buyer with a bill of sale. the motor starts and runs but I was unable to keep it running long enough to test ride. the carb has no missing or broken parts and has no corrosion inside. transmission had clean oil in it when I acquired it. I am unsure if the transmission shifts or not and I cant guarantee that it will as I was unable to test ride it. engine has good compression and shows no leaks. this scooter is complete (except for the taillight lens)and will need restoration of the carb and possibly the motor/transmission. the kick start lever works but the spring may be broken or off as it wont return after kicking.
