Vehicle Detail
1961 Impala Parkwood station wagon THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION. 52 Nomad trailer does not go with car. The wagon is in primer, and will need door panels, headliner, and to make it right, floorboards, which have been patched, and work fine and are solid, just not right. You can put a carpet kit on it and run it now for years, and not know it, but, they are patched. All of the gear can be had at "Impala Bob's" or C.A.R.s and their are tons of restoration shops who specialize in American classics. Front seat had to be duct taped up, and covered as it looked like it was squirrel haven, but the back seat is almost perfect for a 50 yr. car. Original was Red/white. Needs crank mech. for glass worked on. The radiator was boiled out and pressure tested. The fuel tank, was cleaned and sealed with an epoxy coating, and is like new, along with a new sending unit. Rebuilt Carb, rebuilt power steering pump, new rear brakes, Major tune up, and converted the old canister type oil filter to a spin on, with the last oil change etc. I had a custom Reese hitch installed (no body modifications) and spring helpers along with shocks installed so it sits right with the trailer. This car needs to be restored and painted to put it in the 20k plus, but, is a driver now and you can nickel and dime restore it or have one of many shops take it on. You won't loose......... Vehicle is Sold "As is, Where is. Your more than welcome to come and inspect vehicle before the auction ends. New bidders, please contact me first or your bid will be canceled. .I reserve the right to cancel auction. Here's a Youtube link to it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAwSEWYBzCY Ask Questions. Clear titles For the Oversea's inquiries. You hire an agent, he arranges shipping, paperwork, container etc. Europe usually ships out of New Jersey, U.S.A. The Parkwood is bone stock, Except for the wheels. I think they're from another GM vehicle like a Buick. they're 15's, and the car rides a tad lower, but I installed spring helpers (which can be removed in 15 min.) to help stiffen up the car while towing the trailer. It also took me a couple of years to find, but, I have the complete motor/drive gear for the rear electric window in the tail gate. Will need interior panels, headliner, and front seat restored, but, I've been driving it for years as is. All of this is available thru several classic Chevy sites.
