This is perhaps the nicest most original Rambler classic that you will ever find. Everything works! It was lovingly restored two to three years ago. It always starts right up and drives nicely and smoothly. The engine and transmission were rebuilt when it was restored by professionals. It has the original push-button transmission which works just as it should. The engine is strong. All mechanicals work as they should. The body, headliner and upholstery are in great condition. In essence, it is a fully restored car that you could use as a reliable daily driver. It has been restored to original condition--no modifications. The original radio even works just as if it were new. All instruments and lights work. Brakes are very strong. It has a newer paint job which gleams silver. Everything in the car is right except for one flaw in the paint, as pictured, near the gas cap where it appears that gas got onto the paint and caused a bit of the paint to flake off, but otherwise, the paint job is very attractive. It has lived its life in North Carolina and Oregon, so no exposure to salt or nasty weather. A nice feature of this model Rambler is that the seats fold down flat into a bed which is nice should you ever wish to nap on your trip. I would like to keep the car, but I just have to downsize my collection now as I have lost storage space. For that reason, I am selling it NO RESERVE. So you may get it for a very good price!. If you see it you will understand what a fine job the restorers did in getting it back to original condition--feels like going back in time to the President Kennedy era of 1962. I always get lots of waves and comments when I drive it to the store or elsewhere. Please ask any questions.
