I apologize to the watchers and bidders, but just to be very detailed in my listing I had to relist to avoid conflict as e-bay would not let me change pictures if there is bids already placed. There is NO change to the reserve or buy it now price. I want to be as honest as I can and make the buyer happy with their purchase. "I relisted due to errors in my listing. A lot of people were messaging me about the photo with the stock hood and other with a Carbon Fiber hood. A stock hood is included in the sale along with a Stock header panel. ALSO the Crabon fiber hood is mounted on car and included as well. The header panel is OEM replacement as well as the hood is a Correct OEM r63 color code hood with all under labels (the hood is used and the header panel is new oem replacement. When I bought the car it had a cracked header panel, I bought the carbon fiber 1pc hood to replace the damaged header panel, but bought a new header panel in case I wanted to put it back to factory stock one day. " BOTH HOODS INCLUDED (stock metal r63 187 crx si hood, carbon fiber heel toe hood) AND A NEW HEADER PANEL AS WELL."" *This car can be made nearly to stock in about an hour with included parts" You can put the stock springs, stock hood and header panel, stock exhaust manifold, stock airbox, and unbolt the sway bars and strut bars and she pretty much is stock. I would leave the struts, wheels, and the braided brake lines , and torsion bars for safety and a bit more handling features. * If that is your goal . You can make this stock and DOUBLE your money by selling all the aftermarket stuff. * I just do not want to deal with parting it. What is up for auction is my personal vehicle. I have owned this for 10 years and it was purchased from the original owner. The car was purchased new from BOAS motors in San Francisco California. I have ALL paperwork from the dealer included in the sale including the original window sticker, warranty books, etc.. etc.. . It has maintenance records since new as well . NO Accidents EVER. Clean California title in my name .. CUSTOM personalized lic plate of "RARE CRX" is included with sale as well. Car has never been smoked in, EVER. *The car has No A/C , it never came with it. Fun Fact: Actually No 84-87 crx "came" with A/C from the factory. It was an option that was added at the dealer if a customer ordered it. They would have to wait for a couple of days as the dealer would install the A/C kit. It is quite easy to install one as they ALL came pre-wired for A/C from the factory. * *in the picture it shows the passenger floormat not there. It is included but was out of the car for vacuuming. Car will come with MANY extras besides what is on car.Car has a binder filled with all the documents since new and all maintenance records. Electric Sunroof works great and is a very nice feature. The car is a 1986 Honda CRX SI. I purchased the car in stock form 10 years ago from the original owner with ~90,000 miles on the odometer. The car has never been driven in the rain by myself or by the original owner, for him it was due to the manual transmission and slippery hills of San Francisco. I did not drive it in rain to carry on the tradition and to keep it in optimal shape. It has always been garaged as well by myself and the original owner. This is possibly the cleanest most documented unrestored 1987 CRX For sale in the NATION at the moment. The paint is GLOSSY and beautiful . Pictures do no justice. what sets this apart is I can pretty much lick the firewall, painted underbody (that everybody fails to wash) , the inside wheels as well as all the gaps when you open doors and the trunk that typically are filled with dirt and grime . The spare tire has never been used and the "wood" spare tire cover that most do not have is there and perfect . what most people fail to distinguish and what goes unknown is the quarter window seals, rain gutters, bottom window trim , B-pillar covers all get immediate sun damage if not kept indoors even on other claimed "low mileage " cars . There is a difference between "low mileage" and "garage kept low mileage" . Mine is garage kept low mileage and ALL of my seals and trim will prove this . There are no "dents" maybe ~3 superficial "dings" that I can see that a photo will not even pick up they are that small. it is VERY straight . Car has ORIGINAL ENGINE and TRANSMISSION The car runs and drives great and is VERY quick with the 1.5 liter fuel injected engine and 5 speed manual. the car shifts fantastic and is precise, no grinding in any gears. If local I even have a OEM windshield I will include a OEM factory gray brand new header panel in the box. And also a OEM r63 correct color coded hood . THE Quirks:*As you know these cars have fenders and header panel made of ABS plastic. when I bought it the header panel has a large crack in it. I decided to buy a 1pc hood that replaces this part. . NEW header panel and OEM Honda hood in correct R63 color code with all underlabels included. *I bought the Carbon fiber hood used so there is wear and a tiny bit of haze that I'm sure can be waxed out . *There is a crack in the drivers fender that is shown in the picture *there is a cigarette burn on the passenger fender from the original owners friend leaning against it not knowing the fender was plastic. in pictures*there is a scratch here and there , nothing unforgiving though. Just typical for a used car as to be expected. *there is a small mark on the bumper trim as in pictures.*Distributor O ring has a slight leak that I will fix before sold . *very super slight wear on drivers seat. correct for 97,000 miles. * small rock chip in the windshield on passenger side (it can be filled from the repair guys) like the size of a tip of a pencil that is not spreading . It was like that 10 years ago .. Overall this car is in amazing condition. It is in better shape than most 90% of the cars on the road today. It is in better shape than my 2012 chevy cruze in fact. Just pride in ownership on this car from the original owner and myself. Truly a 1980's timecapsule . There is not a moment where I take it out that it does not gets it's photo taken while stationary, driving, It starts up pure conversation everytime I take it out. Non-stop attention machine.
