This is a 1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible with suicide doors. It has one owner besides myself. It has been garaged for 40 years. The original owner purchsased it in 1964 and I bought it in 2007. This car has been completely re-stored which would include complete engine and transmission rebuild and all electrical and mechanical components in the engine bay. Gas tank removed and cleaned. All relays and hydraulics redone. New interior leather seats and panels, new top and components and exterior chrome and paint; factory A/C which blows ice cold air. This was a no expense spared, full restoration, and everything was redone to factory specifications. All original engine and transmission with all matching numbers. New white wall tires, still has original undercoating from the factory. This car runs extremely well for freeway and city driving with heavy traffic and never overheats. Engine and transmission runs immaculate. Transmission was re-built 3 weeks ago. I have invested well over $45,000 and bought it for $20,000. Very hard to find engine that looks this good. If you are looking for an extremely well maintained vehicle and is ready to be enjoyed for many more years--this is the one. Body is straight, chrome is free of imperfections: stainless steel is beautiful; everything works -- including factory stereo with factory power antenna; all lights including instrumental panel work.
