Item Description 2004 VW NEW BEETLE CONVERTIBLE Up for Auction and selling with no reserve, is this beautiful 2004 Volkswagen New Beetle GLS Convertible. This two owner Florida car was just traded in at one of our New franchise dealer partners here in South Florida. It boasts a clean car fax, showing now accidents and no issues. We also just had the vehicle serviced inspected and road tested to make sure the next owner is getting a good mechanically sound vehicle. Options on the car include - Automatic Transmission, Leather interior, Power windows, Power locks, Power convertible top, CD changer, Keyless entry, Cruise control, Fog lights, Alloy wheels, and more. Condition Exterior: The exterior condition of this vehicle is good, The paint shows no signs of fading or oxidation, and also appears to be all original to the car, we found no signs of any repaint or body work that has been done to this car. There are a few dings in the car, we tried to take as many pictures of any damages as possible. The trunk lid has a few small dings as well as one on the driver side door sill, and one on the passenger side door. The front bumper has a tow hook cap missing and a slight scuff. The Driver side rear under the tail light and above the bumper cover has slight damage, see pictures. The Top is in good condition and dose not leak, but has had the rear window previously repaired reglued. Wheels and tires are good, around 60% tread life left in the rear tires, and around 30% left in the front two tires. All Tires are matching Goodyear. Condition Interior: All Around the interior of this beetle is in good condition, it is a non smoker and has no odor and no burn holes. The leather is nice and free of any rips or tears, carpet is good and stain free. Like all Volkswagens the interior plastics do scratch very easily over time so you will see normal scratches here and there on the interior plastics. If you have been shopping for a pre-owned VW Beetle you know what Im talking about. Also like most VWs the glove box door latch is broken and so is the trim in the shifter channel. Mechanical Condition: Mechanically a Very sound car, We just had it inspected, serviced and road tested. This beetle runs and drives great! Engine sounds good, no abnormal sounds, no ticks, no knocks. The transmission shifts out very good and strong. The AC is ice cold and everything has been tested and in working order. All the power options like all the windows and top, everything works like it should. No check engine lights on or warning lights, but it dose have the airbag light on. We did not get into why the light is on, probably one of the sensors. We do have some service records available with the car, as well as the most important one that shows at 86,xxx miles the transmission valve body was replaced by the VW dealer. Please understand that you are bidding on a used vehicle and normal wear and tear is to be expected. We Try to list any problems or damage that we see and encourage a pre- auction inspection.
