For Sale is A 1984 Pontiac Fiero. This is A Project Vehicle and not a daily Driver. I purchased this Vehicle in November, 2012 with the intentions to totally restore the car. The car Does Have A Recent (June 2013) Pa. State vehicle Inspection. The Original engine was not useable (#1 Rod through the Block). I purchased A 1985 Engine and Totally Restored the Motor, i.e: The Block was Hot Tanked, passages were Cleaned with new Freeze plugs installed, then the Block was Bored 0.040 oversize/Honed at the Machine Shop. The Head was Hot Tanked ,Milled True, Magnafluxed for cracks and A Triple Angle valve Job was Completed, and hand lapped. The Crankshaft did not check out, so A Remanufactured Shaft was Purchased. In addition, the 1985 Pontiac 2.5L utilizes a roller camshaft, so a New cam with new Roller Lifters was installed. The Timing Gears were replaced with new ones, and new A High Volume Oil Pump was installed. Basically, everything Internal was replaced with new parts. Externally on the engine the Starter, Water Pump, Ignition Coil/Plugs/Wires/Thermostat Are new, In addition, I rebuilt the Throttle Body, and Replaced the EGR Valve and MAP Sensors with New Parts. I also replaced the Engine And Transmission Mounts With new Mounts. The Sub-Frame was stripped and repainted with Martin-Senior Frame Paint.The car has only been driven 405 Miles Since the engine was restored and isn't even broken in yet. This Car is running really Great, and I welcome anyone who would like to test Drive the car. The Clutch Master, and Slave Cylinders were replaced with new Parts. In addition, A new Clutch Kit was installed (Clutch Plate/Disc/Throw-Out Bearing/Pilot Bearing), And the Flywheel was sent to the Machine shop and it was Ground . I replaced the Headliner from the Fiero Store, but it is not exactly correct. I believe that it is still under warranty. I also replaced the Door (External) Window Seals with new Seals. The Shocks and Struts were replaced with new parts, and then an Eagle 4 Wheel Alignment was completed. The car steers straight. All 4 Wheel Brake Rotors/Pads were replaced with New. The Front Wheel Bearings were cleaned and repacked, with New seals installed. (The rear wheel bearing assemblies are sealed units, and not able to be cleaned/repacked, but are in very good condition). The Rear Wheel Bearing Assemblies did have New Seals Installed. This car does have Cruise Control, but I removed the system. It will be included in the sale, and could be reinstalled if you wish to do so. I also have an Original Pontiac GM Shop Repair manual, a Chiltons Manual, And A Hayes Maintenance Manual, A Spare Radio, All Purchase receipts, and A CD with Pics showing the restoration Process that will go with the car. I have a price list Showing actual Dollars I have invested Into this project ($4082.61), but I could not figure out how to get it to load up on Ebay.. I do Have All the receipts for the Parts that were replaced, and all will go with the sale of the car because nearly all of the parts I purchased are under warranty. Because of illness, I am willing to Sell this car at A Financial Loss Because I need the cash Now. You can feel safe to bid on this car because if your the winning bidder and you decide you don't either like the car, or just don't want it after you see/drive it---you would only need to pay for the cost of the Ebay listing fees. There is no possible way I could Provide any type of warranty, or guarantee with the sale of this car, but I am confident that you will not be disappointed. This car drives and handles Great.
