**** RELISTED DUE TO NON PAYING BIDDER 4446leland****1968 Ford F100 Short Wheel Base, Fleet side(Wide Bed) 302 V8,Edelbrock Intake & Carb w/headers & Automatic Trans offered by Gas Monkey Garage. We recently acquired this “Street Rod Starter Kit” from the previous owner who started to build his dream truck with this good solid platform that originally had the 300CID 6 cyl & 3 Spd manual built at the Dallas Texas Assembly plant . After installing the 302 V8/Automatic combination the project stalled. After sitting for some time we picked it up, brought it back to the shop, put in some fresh fuel & charged the battery. It starts right up, runs well & sounds good too! After a brief drive around the parking lot (and one burnout!) we weren’t sure how it should be built, so we didn’t (we wish we could build everyone we see but with our filming schedule we just can’t). Instead we’re offering this up the way we found it so you can enjoy building it like you want. This Truck has been re-sprayed at some point in the past and is showing some chips & scratches from normal use. The interior is fairly complete w/additional gauges installed & needing some TLC(the fairly new Mossy Oak seat cover is covering a very usable solid seat cushion & frame that has a tear on the driver’s side). The body & bed is solid with minimal rust (mostly superficial) with a patch present on the driver’s side floor. This should be considered a “project” truck as it will need complete servicing (brakes, fluids, filters, tires etc.) due to storage and some sorting out before being driven for any extended period. This is an excellent candidate for Restoration, Street Rod Project, Rat Rod Project; Advertising or Promotional use that can be driven like it is until you decide!
